Introduction
Intrepid Aviation is a privately held commercial aircraft lessor, which owns and manages commercial aircraft leased to passenger and freight airline operators worldwide. The Intrepid Aviation management team has lengthy experience in the acquisition, ownership and leasing of commercial aircraft as well as the conversion of passenger aircraft into freighters.
In 2006 Intrepid Aviation formed a partnership with Reservoir Capital Group, supported by an equity commitment from Reservoir, to acquire new freighter aircraft and used passenger commercial aircraft for subsequent freighter conversion.
Reservoir Capital Group is a privately held investment firm with a “hybrid” investment approach consisting of public securities and private investments, as well as partnerships with investment teams. Reservoir currently manages in excess of $3 billion. All of Reservoir’s commercial aviation investment activity is managed by the Intrepid Aviation Management team.
